Dr. Ross Massimiano, Veterinarian
Some of you may recognize Dr. Massimiano from his tech days here at RCAH roughly 5 years ago. After working 3 years with us he attended vet school at St. George's University in Grenada and then onto Murdoch University in Perth, Australia for his clinical year. He now lives in Bay Ho with his fiancé (who is a nurse, on the human side!), 2 dogs "Jack", a labradoodle & "Gizmo", a scruffy terrier mix and his cat "Macho". We are so excited about his return and providing exceptional care at Rose Canyon!

Dani, Hospital Manager
One of our bright and friendly faces is Dani. In May 2012 she was promoted to hospital manager! She is a California native, born in Oakland and grew up in Long Beach. After moving to San Diego in March of 07, she finally got a chance to pursue her dream of working with animals. She has been with us since October 2007!
Dani loves hanging out with her friends, riding her bike, going to the gym, going on road trips, attending concerts and adding to her make up & tattoo collection. As a die hard animal lover and vegetarian, she hopes to have her own animal rescue someday.
Her furry children include two scruffy terrier mixes named "Bronx" & "Brooklyn" and 2 cats; "Gilly" a crazy, loud mouthed orange tabby and "Macho", a grey tabby she adopted from us her first day at work!
Kimmie has worked at Rose Canyon Animal Hospital as a technician since May 2010.
She was born and raised in San Diego and went to Mission Bay High school and has taken several general education courses at Mesa College. In her spare time she likes to take her dogs to the beach, fiesta island, or dog parks, spend time with friends and family and add to her tattoo collection. Kimmie has several fur babies of her own including Elvis a pug mix, Grosero, Cheddar, and Milo her cats, and Kiwi and Juno her parrots.
Julieanne is part of our friendly up front receptionists. Born and raised in San Diego and has been living in Clairemont for the last 15 years. She is a busy mom of 3 and enjoys spending time with her family and keeps busy with their many activities.
Julieanne's family also includes four wonderful pets; a slobbery lover boy named "Jameson", a rough, tough white furball named "Oliver", a cat named "Lucy" and a turtle named "Mr.Turtle".
Erika is our residential free loving "hippie girl." She was born & raised in the LA area, but moved down to San Diego for a change of pace and to be closer to her boyfriend. Erika had dogs & reptiles growing up and is now on the look out for a new puppy or kitten! (She definitely is in the right place, ha!) She is currently taking behavior study classes at City & Mesa College to someday work toward her goal of working in art therapy! In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, playing her guitar and drawing.

Losing my girl was an incredible blow. She was my world. Dr. Gibbings and staff were the best I could have hoped for. I instantly felt as though I was part of a family. Receiving this letter in the mail yesterday touched me so deeply. When I'm ready for another pet, there will only be one place I bring them. Thank you for all you did.
